Service Description

Yin Yoga is a slow paced, passive form of yoga. Yin Yoga is unique in that you are asked to relax in the posture and soften the muscles so it offers a deeper access to the body. Āsanas are mainly floor based and are held for a longer period with the support of props, as we focus the practice on myo-fascia (connective tissue) release. When these postures are linked with mindful breathing they release body tension and stress, increase flexibility and nourish the joints and fascia of the body. This style of practice supports the pace of our busy yang lifestyle. Through fascial release you will experience a greater range of mobility and you will be supporting your nervous system and immunity. Accessible for all levels and all abilities. Yin classes can be helpful if you are: - Experiencing Anxiety - Wanting to improve range of movement and flexibility - Needing to slow down - Seeking balance in your life - Feel like you are depleted or lack energy The focus and rhythm of these open level classes can vary from teacher to teacher. No matter your experience you’ll feel at ease as you move with your own breath and body awareness, in a safe and non-competitive space. There are plenty of options and modifications available and opportunities to slow down or rest as required.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS FOR STUDIO CLASSES: Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the class start time. Please cancel either via: -Our website, or -The “Fit by Wix” app (download from the App Store or Google Play. Use invite code VWW1KG when prompted). If you're unable to cancel within the 2-hour window, please text 0404 075 700 with your full name and the class day/time. Cancellations will not be accepted via email, social media, or any method other than those listed above. Late Cancellations & No-Shows: - If you cancel late (under 2 hours) or don’t show up, your class credit/payment will be forfeited. - Unlimited Members may incur a $10 fee per missed class. If a class is full, you can join the WAITLIST via the “Fit by Wix” app (waitlisting is not available via the website). Here’s how it works: - When a spot opens, the first person on the waitlist receives a phone notification (ensure you allow notifications for the FitbyWix app) - You’ll have 15 minutes to book your spot or pass. - If declined or not actioned, the opportunity moves to the next person in line.
