About the Event

Support your nervous system and immune system with an immersion into the ancient practices of yin yoga. If you have been feeling burnt out or running on an endless cycle of busy-ness, this immersion with provide you with a sacred pause and replenishment.

This Summer yin practice addresses the vulnerability of the body as we transition into the long summer period governed by the 'earth element'. We can stimulate the flow of chi and restore an overall sense of vibrancy and vitality in the body. The stimulation of chi can also take you out of stagnation in life and help you move towards your intentions - aligning your mind, body, and life with your wellness goals.

What to expect?

Yin yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive poses that target the connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. This practice encourage deep cleansing and renewal of the connective tissues and organs of the body. Yin Yoga is unique in that you are asked to relax in the posture, soften the muscles and move closer to the bone. Yin offers a deeper access to the body. The nature of yin yoga supports an internal enquiry that makes this practice transformational.

This workshop is for you,if you are:

- Feeling like you are tired and running on empty.

- Experiencing anxiety.

- Feeling over-stimulated and have too much energy.

- Feeling like your mind is over reactive or your energy levels are erratic.

- Wanting to improve your range of movement.

- Needing to slow down.

- Wanting to become more resilient to stress.

- Seeking balance in your life.

- Wanting to support your wellness...

No experience is required and modifications can be made for mobility restrictions and pregnancy. 

It is open to all levels, including beginners.

Please ensure you bring the following items along with you:

- Yoga Mat

- Light blanket or throw

- 2x pillow cases (or your studio bolster covers if you have them)
