Sometimes in life we feel the call to bring a pause to the daily grind. Our body craves rest, our mind craves space, our soul calls out for time and space to simply be without roles and responsibilities.
This 2.5 hour session is an opportunity to find a soft place to land. To give rise to the state of inner generosity, care and gentle curiosity.
Experience nourishment through practices that embody the qualities of softness, ease, compassion and stillness.
This offering is incredibly soothing for the nervous system, fostering deeper states of rest and meditative awareness.
Including a nourishing combination of:
: Restorative floor based postures (where the body is supported by different props to slowly soften in each posture)
: Some gentle flow through postures to increase sensory and mind-body awareness, blood flow and allow gentle exploration through movement
: Pranayama - Breath awareness
: Sound Bath involving Gong, Chimes and Singing bowls and Voice.
What is Sound Medicine/ Sound Healing?
Sound medicine is a modality that has been used throughout time to support the healing processes within the physical, energetic and spiritual body.
The resonant vibrations of sound have a profound capacity to reach the cells of the body aiding the healing process and shifting brainwaves to access states of meditation or rest whilst rebalancing the nervous system. It can at times feel cathartic, rejuvenating and deeply restorative.
Ruth channels sound consciously and creates a safe wholesome container supporting you in remembering the felt sense of stillness, spaciousness, receptivity and your innate wholeness.
These practices are offered to provide a safe container for you to remember your wholeness and a felt sense of Being as opposed to needing to fix, heal or change parts of yourself.

Suitable for all levels, no previous yoga or meditation experience necessary.

- yoga mat
- 2 blankets/throws
- 2x cushions
- A bolster if you have one (or use studio supply)
